How to fix Quickbooks error, showing for adding PayPal transaction:

Error: You must specify a different number. This number has already been used.

1. Open one PayPal transaction via “details”.
2. Change the “Receipt #”, by default is 1001. Change to something else, example: 111117.
3. “Save and add”.
4. You are all set! Now, you can add all PayPal transactions.

Do not contact support, as it takes hours/days for them to get back. Usually, they don’t get the issue from first time so you will waste your time.
